The Paper Trail

When you are going through the adoption process you call all the paper work "the paper trail." Now there is a totally different meaning to "the paper trail."

The toilet paper comes off the roll so easy and makes a great addition to any room. You just grab the paper and walk away, it will follow you anywhere you want to go.

Pumpkin Patch Maze

We went to the local garden center today to visit their pumpkin patch. Lauren loved the haybale maze. She thought walking through the haybales was a wonderful idea. She did not care where she went - just walking between haybales was a great adventure.

Funny Bunny Feet

Lauren loves her bunny houseshoes. She had a hard time walking at first because she had to look at her feet the whole time. She found this was pretty hard to do - so now she just admires them while she is sitting down.

Marching Band

Lauren loves walking around the house with her two rattle toys. She shakes them and then adds her own vocals to the march. If we tell her to "march your feet" she will stop and stand in place doing a high step march. She thinks this is very funny. If we are in a public place and she does this high step march we are suppose to mimic her. That's what Dads are for.

Washington Apple Pickin' Time

Well, it is Autumn in Washington and the apples are ready for picking. We are fortunate enough to have a beautiful and bountiful apple tree in our yard. Today it was apple harvest time. (It was either we gather our apples or the racoons) Lulu enjoyed gathering the apples in her basket, then running around the yard leaving a trail of apples behind her. Tomorrow we will do an apple crisp and then wrap the rest of the apples for winter.
