The Dragon Quilt

For her first birthday Lauren received a Dragon Quilt (get it.... "draggin' quilt"?) from Aunt Sue and Uncle Lee. On the quilt are dragons that Lauren loves to look at. The quilt comes in very handy in the mornings as Lauren is watching her Boohbahs or MAGIQ DVD's. She really loves those two shows.... and her very own quilt.

Sunglasses are cool!

Lauren loves sunglasses. She thinks she's really "stylin" when she has her glasses on. In the first photo she is outside on the deck with Daddy. That was really cool she thought as they were both wearing sunglasses. In the second photo Lauren is about to go out on the town with Grandpapa. In the third photo Lauren is hanging out with uncle Brian and she is just too elegant for words to describe! She even adjusts her glasses so they look just right...

Tastes like dirt!

Mom! This tastes like dirt! What more can we say? Dirt usually tastes like dirt. Lauren enjoyed the outside while visiting the Lake Quinault Lodge in April. It was our first real summer day with temperatures in the low 70's.

Lots of toys & lots of energy

Lauren has an abundance of toys thanks to friends and family that think that she can never have too much... She also has the energy to match. It is hard to believe that Lauren has only been home for four months, but on the same hand we can't imagine not having her with us. She has changed so much and she is growing like a weed. She'll be going to college before we know it...

Grandpapa & Grandmama

Grandpa and Grandma came for a visit from Finland for a week in April. The weather was outstanding and Lauren had a great time enjoying all the attention coming her way. Lauren loves being outside and she never did get enough of walking around with Grandpa (inside or out).

Goofing off

Lauren took her second vacation at the coast in April. The "squid" goes with her wherever she goes. It is an important buddy when it comes to bed-time and an integral part of our bed-time routine. During waking hours the squid comes in handy for goofing off in various ways.
